Wiltspoon House
single-storey rear extension
SCOPE
This project embodies the studio's philosophy of designing calm, nature-inspired sanctuaries within bustling urban environments. The renovation transforms a typical two-storey London property into a bespoke long-term home for a couple and their beloved Boston Terrier, Terrence. The studio applied its unique Mindfulness Design Method to create a space that perfectly aligns with the clients' lifestyle and needs.

This project exemplifies 28 a.m.'s commitment to creating homes that serve as sanctuaries for city dwellers.
By prioritising natural light, incorporating biophilic elements, and using a restrained palette of natural materials, Wiltspoon House offers its occupants a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of London life.
The renovation not only addresses the practical needs of the clients but also embodies fourteen a.m.'s holistic approach to design, where the process itself is as important as the outcome.
Through careful consideration of every detail, from the flow of spaces to the texture of materials underfoot, the studio has created a home that feels at once deeply personal and universally calming.
The result is a harmonious living space that promotes wellbeing and fosters a deeper connection with nature within an urban context. Wiltspoon House stands as a testament to the power of thoughtful, mindful design in transforming not just a physical space, but the very experience of home in a busy city.
